About this vintage design furniture

Extremely rare daybed designed by Kho Liang le for Artifort in the 1950s. The daybed has a beautiful constructed steel frame with thick solid rosewood slats and a black leather upholstered cushion. We acquired the daybed from the first owner who was friends with Kho liang's wife she told us. The daybed is marked with the original Artifort tag underneath. As far as we can find this is the 2nd daybed coming on the market in 10 years. Remains in very good condition with some light patination to the steel and some traces of use to the rosewood slats. The cushion is re upholstered in black leather at a later moment and remains in perfect condition. Reference : 274050
