Vintage chair in blue metal by Melle Hammer, Netherlands 1980

A lovely dining / side chair, designed by Melle Hammer and manufactured in the Netherlands in 1981. This experimental design is made of blue metal with a plywooden seat and back. The rectangular shapes of the base are visible through openings in the folded seat and back. This creates a lovely appeal and the contrast between the blue metal and light brown wood is really nice! An eye-catching piece that will be a fantastic addition to the decor. Signed underneath the seat. The chair remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. It has a small chip to the seat as shown in photos. Reference : 273399
