About this vintage design furniture
A rare set of armchairs with black leather cushions, designed by Kho Liang Ie in 1959. At the time, it was radically new with its slatted design and use of brushed steel. The plywood slats are finished with Jacaranda veneer. The reupholstered cushions in black leather remain in very good condition. The frame shows some light wear. Made by Artifort in the Netherlands.
