About this vintage design furniture
Dining set. Folding table and 6 chairs made in the 1960s in the Tatra Nabytok factory in Czechoslovakia. The designer was František Jirak. The set has undergone a comprehensive renovation. The table has a height of 77cm, the top before unfolding is 120cm x 80cm. A rotating insert hidden under the main tabletop allows you to increase the size to 180cm x 80cm. Table legs and frame made of hard beech wood. Veneered tops. The veneer has an unusual grain, nature has drawn an abstract picture on it. The grains are emphasized by removing the old chemically cured varnish and protecting it with hard oil. The chairs have a modernist form. Backrests made of veneered plywood also cleaned of chemically cured varnish and secured with hard oil, upholstery replaced with high-quality beige velor. Dimensions: width 41cm, depth 45cm, height 77cm, seat height 45cm.
