About this vintage design furniture

Italian chandelier from the island of Murano. This piece has a brass frame that supports an impressive array of 178 Murano glass, eggplant-colored, polyhedral shaped pieces. Illuminated by 13 E14 bulbs (for the USA we supply E12 adapters). The Polyhedral component was first made by Carlo Scarpa in 1958 for Venini. Reference : 272848

About the designer

Carlo SCARPA

Carlo Scarpa was an Italian architect and designer, born on June 2, 1906 in Venice and died on November 28, 1978 in Sendai, Japan. He studied architecture at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a designer for the Venini artistic glassworks.
