Rare pair of "Rialto" armchairs designed by the Finnish architect and designer Carl Gustaf Hiort af Ornäs in 1957.original models published by his own furniture company, Puunveisto Oy.Carl Gustaf Hiort af Ornäs has had a discreet career in the world of design. It was designed and exhibited at the 11th Milan Triennial in 1957.The teak frame with its curved legs is made from a single piece of wood, the cabinetmaker's assembly of the straight-tailed armrests is perfect.The refined look is given by the leather sheathing of the armrests and the braiding of the backrest with this same material.
