Six chairs by designer Willy Van Der Meeren for Tubax Ca.1950.
Have a black lacquered metal frame with blue vinyl seat.
The armrests are made of wood.
Van Der Meeren is considered one of the most important Belgian furniture designers of the postwar period.
This pieces of Belgian social furniture was designed for schools in the early 1950s. They are now highly collectible.
