Set of 5 vintage chairs n 20 by Kohn

Set of 5 chairs N°20 stamped and labeled J and J KOHN ,from Vienna Austria, 1885 ca. Kohn's "omega" model differs from Thonet's by a "violin" back silhouette, and a thinness of the front legs that is not very common. This chair is considered by some as the most elegant of the N°20. Stained "natural beech", under shellac, in excellent condition, stable and solid, a fine example of wood selection, it can and should be used daily. Canes in perfect condition, six new "French" threads in 2.25 mm x 2.5 mm (a SR weave). The canes have been left in their natural color, they can of course be dyed on demand. 91 cm high - seat diameter 41 cm - back width 42 cm - seat height: 46 cm.More photos and information on request.
