About this vintage design furniture
These ART DECO bentwood armchairs were designed by Jaroslav Grunt in cooperation with Jan Vaněk(ÚP Závody) / Czechoslovakia, 1920´s.
Made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1930’s. Made of beech wood. They are in very good condition, the cushions were completely reupholstered.
These elegant armchairs comes from the Brno architects Jaroslav Grunt (1893-1988) and Jan Vaněk (1891-1962) and are loosely based on the creation of the Viennese architect Josef Hoffmann. Very attractive and simple design fits into the context of the design creation in Czechoslovakia 1920/1930´s.
