An elegant sculptural armchair designed by Illum Wikkelso for Niels Eilersen. Manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s. This Chair is very similar in design and construction to "The Chair" by Hans Wegner.
Grand with perfect proportions, it shows the mastery of Danish mid-century craftsmanship. It will be a delightful addition to a mid-century desk or enrich any living room or bedroom. The frame is made from solid teak, the seat has been re-upholstered in quality black leather. Overall, excellent condition with stunning wood grain.
