The Multi-Lite lamp was designed in 1972 by Louis Weisdorf. The lamp pays homage to the golden years of Danish design with its characteristic shape. The base of the lamp consists of two cylindrical shapes around which a metal ring forms a pivot point for the two external movable screens. These two screens can be rotated and create several types of combinations. By rotating the two screens, the Multi-Lite can emit different types of light; straight up, down, or asymmetrical artistic light. The Multi-Lite pendant lamp, therefore, fits into any type of home space. The lamp is in very good condition for its age. It has a natural patina, and no scratches or dents.
