About this vintage design furniture

Wébé wall unit with desk designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé in ca. 1960. This unit consists of four black uprights, a desk, a storage cabinet, a cabinet with two drawers and nine shelves. The wall unit can be dismantled and, if desired, easily be rearranged according to your own choice. The condition of this vintage wall unit is still very good with normal signs of wear, some discolouration and one light circle (see photos). The cabinet has been fully checked and put back in teak oil again. With one key. Material: teak wood, teak veneer, iron and brass. Dimensions: h x w x d = 200 x 260 x 40 cm. Marked: Webe (see photo). Louis VAN TEEFFELEN

Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
