About this vintage design furniture
Wonderful Art Deco "Ikora" crackled art glass bowl designed by Karl Wiedmann for WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), Germany, 1920s/30s. The bowl is made of very thick transparent crystal glass with interlayer decoration by oxide and powder fusion (in brown, green, claret). This technique ("Ikora") was developed by Karl Wiedmann. The bowl is highly decorative. Quite heavy (3.1 kg). Diameter: 36 cm; Height: 7.5 cm. Excellent vintage condition.
