About this vintage design furniture
This brutalist Swedish side or desk chair was designed by Gilbert Marklund for Furusnickarn in the early 1970s. The chair is an original piece from that production period. The high-quality piece is made from solid pinewood featuring quality wood joints and a vivid wood grain. The chair is in very good original condition. It shows one small restoration on the upper left side part and minor scratches.

Gilbert Marklund is a Swedish industrial designer born in 1987. He studied at Lund University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design in 2010, followed by a Master's degree in Product Design in 2012.
