About this vintage design furniture

The cult lamp Kina, designed by Bent Karlby in 1946, produced by Lyf.The lamp is made of opal glass and solid brass.This is the largest version of the lamp. It has an original reflector that suppresses the light.The lamp is in very good condition with a natural patina.Dimensions:height: 45cm (with a pendant)diameter: 30cmThe lamp has been carefully cleaned, it has a new braided cable of about 2 meters long. The cable can be changed to any length and color. Also, the trim is attached to the lamp.Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos. Bent Karlby (1912-1998) was a Danish designer renowned for his contributions to the lighting industry. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he developed his minimalist, functional style.
