About this vintage design furniture

A compact vintage sideboard designed by John Herbert in the 1960s for A Younger. Made from solid Afrormosia and veneered teak. The piece is in excellent having been restored and refinished with danish oil, There are some polished in scratches to one side please see photo. We also have the larger version of this piece in stock. 168cm Wide. 49cm Deep. 81cm High. Reference : 246203

About the designer

John HERBERT

John Herbert was a British industrial designer, born in 1929 and died in 2007. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London in the 1950s and began his career working for the English furniture manufacturer Ercol.
