About this vintage design furniture

This set of three nesting tables by French designer Raphaël Raffel, also known as Raffel, has a rectangular glass top and rests on an atypical base with a profiled shape that splits in two. This set is a beautiful representation of the elegance of French furniture from the 1950's. They are worked in a light wood that is the cherry tree offering them a certain luminosity. The thinness of the base and the presence of a transparent glass top bring lightness to these tables. Raffel has worked with the Maison Honoré in Paris. A great furniture house like the House of Jansen for example. His work is now recognized as one of the most successful and subtle. The grain and knots of the wood give a little more relief. These nests have a great decorative potential. They are lightly varnished. Dimensions are indicated w x h x d : 62*51*3248*47*3136*41*30 Reference : 245185
