Vintage nesting tables by Raphaël Raffel, 1955

This set of three nesting tables by French designer Raphaël Raffel, also known as Raffel, has a rectangular glass top and rests on an atypical base with a profiled shape that splits in two. This set is a beautiful representation of the elegance of French furniture from the 1950's. They are worked in a light wood that is the cherry tree offering them a certain luminosity. The thinness of the base and the presence of a transparent glass top bring lightness to these tables. Raffel has worked with the Maison Honoré in Paris.
