About this vintage design furniture
60s, Danish design by Alfred Christensen. Refurbished 3-pers. sofa. Upholstered in quality lambskin imitation. Camel-brown leather buttons. Beech wood legs and armrests. Original brass springs in the seat are kept. Manufactured by Danish furniture manufacturer Slagelse Møbelværk in about 1955-60. Refurbished by a professional upholsterer, craftsman.

About the designer
Alfred CHRISTENSEN
Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) was an American industrial designer best known for his work for the Knoll furniture company in the 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
