Vintage bamboo and bronze lacquer coffee table by Maison Baguès, 1960

Superb coffee table in bamboo bronze and Chinese lacquer top from the Maison Baguès dating from the early 60s. The bronze work associated with the decoration of a temple in the mountains is just superb. Faux bamboo and Chinese lacquer are typical attributes of the French neoclassical style from the 50's to the 70's, by Maison Baguès and Maison Jansen. The structure has been cleaned and the bronze has a beautiful patina. The lacquer top has been entirely restored. A timeless and very decorative piece, in perfect condition. Reference : 242738
