Mid century Danish extendable table in teak, Denmark 1960

Extending dining table in teak wood. The piece of furniture, of Danish origin, breathes the Scandinavian design predominant in the mid-20th century. It is constructed with a tabletop topped and edged in solid teak wood that conceals an extension of 49.5cm on each side. Unfolding the two, a length of 240cm is reached. The tabletop stands on four legs with a subtle hexagonally turned shape. A piece of furniture steeped in history, versatile and 100% timeless. It is in an excellent state of conservation as it has been restored and finished with colourless ecological oil-wax, respecting the natural grain and shine of its wood to the maximum.
