About this vintage design furniture
Very rare drawing room armchairs designed by German artist Hans Christiansen (1866-1945) around 1910's. Manufactured probably by Ludwig Schäfer, Mainz. Made of solid mahogany and mahogany veneer with metal inlays, brass fittings. In very good original condition with some traces of wear and age. Height 74 cm, width 64 cm, depth 54 cm.

Aage CHRISTIANSEN
Aage Christianesen was a Danish designer who was born in 1906 and died in 1990. He is best known for his work designing lamps and lighting fixtures for the Danish company Fog & Mørup in the 1950s and 1960s.
