About this vintage design furniture
A modern coffee table designed by Coen de Vries, made by Gispen in the Netherlands circa 1950.This lovely table is made of high quality chrome with black lacquered metal and a teak wood top. A nice minimalist design that can add a modern touch to any decor. The warm brown top contrasts nicely with the clear, shiny metal frame that gives it a nice, elegant appeal.It is in good vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use. The tray has some use marks, which add to its patina.

About the designer
Coen DE VRIES
Coen de Vries was a Dutch industrial designer, born in 1918 and died in 2004. He studied at the Amsterdam School of Arts and Crafts and worked for various design companies, including Gispen, Spectrum and Pilastro.
