About this vintage design furniture
Vintage Midcentury Modern Italian Design ’CARIMATE’ Dining Chairs by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, Italy 1960’s. Cassina produced the Carimate chair series in 1963. This set of 2 chairs have an original vermilion red lacquered wooden frame with a woven rush cane seat. In all clean original used condition. Each chair measures 48cm x 74,5cm x 44cm. Designer Vico Magistretti was a master in creating playful designs with eye for detail. This set of chairs where part of the interior he designed for the Carimate Golf Club in Italy. The architecture of this club was also by his hand.
