About this vintage design furniture
XL multi layered pendant light with a matte light grey lacquer. It consists of four different sized metal discs with white undersides to give a soft wide spread of neutral colored light downwards as well as a stunning light effect from the sides. Produced by the well known Danish lamp manufacturer Frandsen Lighting AS. Good condition with almost no signs of time. Straight discs and no dents. The light has been rewired for safety. Standard E27 light bulb socket. Frandsen lighting started in 1968, Benny Frandsen received an education as a low-voltage engineer, but never really used it, he would rather design lamps. Frandsen was the man who invented the magnet ball lamp, which hung on the wall in almost all Danish homes, today it is a retro cult. with help from China, Verner Panton lamps and furniture are also produced at Frandsen and new ball lamps are back in fashion.
