Mid century sideboard by John Herbert for A Younger, 1960s

Description: This delightful rarely seen chest of drawers was designed by John Herbert for British cabinet maker Younger in the mid-twentieth century. Younger Furniture has been noted for many years for its sound construction and excellent design. The ‘Fonseca’ sideboard is constructed from teak and afrormosia wood the sideboard is not only well designed but has been manufactured to a high standard. The desirable piece provides ample storage space with its multiple drawers. Both are beautifully designed and superbly manufactured with its rich grain, warm tones, rosewood handles, and beautiful solid tapered legs. Both stylish and functional this beautiful piece would make a wonderful addition to any home.
