Description:This charming and elegant mid-century chest of drawers was designed by renowned furniture maker Alfred Cox, whose work included high-quality, handcrafted pieces for Heal and Sons and other high-end department stores in the 1950s and 1960s.This beautiful chest of drawers is extremely well-constructed, primarily of walnut and beach, and sits proudly on solid beech tapered legs.This chest offers ample storage space with five spacious drawers that are graduated in size. Both elegant and functional, this beautiful chest of drawers will be an asset to your home.Item Reference:Condition:We have carefully stripped this chest of drawers and refinished it with a coat of matte lacquer for a long lasting finish.The chest of drawers has a few minor segments of veneer damage as photographed, which does not detract from the piece.We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible.Prior to shipping, all items are carefully cleaned and recoated with a fresh coat of Danish oil to ensure your item looks its best upon delivery.This item is in good presentable condition and has no significant flaws.
