"Relaxy" vintage sofa bed by Busnelli, Italy 1950
About this vintage design furniture
A Relaxy sofa or daybed designed in 1959. This recliner is convertible in several ways. By pulling the handle underneath, the seat can be removed to clear the sleeping surface. Then the head and footrests can be tilted. In addition, the backrest can be placed along the seating surface to create more space. The structure is made of black lacquered steel. The upholstery is completely renovated with blue Yoredale fabric from Camira. The condition of the frame and suspension is almost like new.
