About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Jindrich Halabala, renowned designer credited with ushering in the mass market production of furniture in his native Czechoslovakia. Made by UP Zavody, a well known Czechoslovakian furniture manufacturer and dealer based in Brno. It has been restored and reupholstered by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process. Please get in touch with us to find out the details of its restoration. This item features classic Art Deco elements. Art Deco is a style that originates from France in the early 20th century. Its furniture designs are meticulously crafted, usually using exotic woods. Pieces are normally lacquered to give off a dazzling gloss. These eloquently crafted pieces will add visual performance and posh to any interior.
