Set of 4 vintage Italian leather Irma chairs by Achille Castiglioni for Zanotta
About this vintage design furniture
The chair "Irma" is an iconic piece of Italian design, born from the mind of Achille Castiglioni at the request of the company "ZANOTTA" to design for them an unconventional "dining" chair. Exhibited in the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert museum in London is a fully industrial product, which uses tubular steel reducing the joints and the use of hardware to a minimum, focusing on the ergonomic aspect of the seat. Stable but very light. The leather backrest that forces you to keep an upright posture makes it extremely comfortable. The chairs show sign of use
