Vintage stainless steel teapot by Carsten Jörgensen for Bodum, 1980

The OTTONI kettle, designed in 1986 by Carsten Jorgensen, is based on geometric shapes. The cylindrical body is topped by a conical lid with a transparent blue plastic ball as a handle. The coolness of the stainless steel has been broken up with gold accents, mahogany brown and a blue stain on the handle. The pointed spout and its attachment are an excuse to introduce a series of tabs running along the main edge of the kettle's body.The wooden handle has been protected from the damaging effects of steam.OTTONI is both practical and eye-catching. Preserved in its original condition, minimal signs of use.
