About this vintage design furniture

Cor Alons - The Hague School - Fauteuil - Art Deco The Hague, Netherlands, 1929 a Truly unique and very well preseved fauteuil from the famous Art Deco influenced the-Hague-School architect Cor Alons (Groningen, June 11, 1892 – The Hague, April 24, 1967). His style conforms to functionalism; Cor Alons aimed for a clear structure in his design. This fauteuil is made off very subtle green velvet fabrics, combined with the tropical woodsort coromandel. The spring tensioned seating area is still very firm and comfortable. In overall very good condition. Some little signs as photographed, but nevertheless in stunning condition considering its age. Note: Unedited pictures, only cropped. This item comes from a private collection with more matching items.
