Danish Royal 7 Midcentury Tenera Table Lamp by Ingelise Koefoed for Fog & Mørup Tall and impressive table lamp with very decorative bold design by Danish artist Inge-Lise Koefoed. The lamp was produced in collaboration of Royal Copenhagen with the Danish lamp manufacturer Fog & Mørup. The model no. is E 7167 Royal 7 from the famous Tenera series. Inge-Lise Kofoed was an artist at Royal Copenhagen’s faience and stoneware department under Nils Thorsson. She was one of the artists behind the well-known stoneware and faience series from the 60s and 70s. She was one of six young female artists from Denmark, Norway and Sweden who Nils Thorsson brought into the faience department in 1958 to create a whole new style that came to prominence throughout the 60s and 70s. Inge-Lise Kofoed was educated at the Arts and Crafts School in Copenhagen 1956-1960. Marked on the bottom marked (see photo) The lamp has been rewired with a European plug and has a new shade.

About the designer
Niels KOEFOED
Koefoed is the name of a Danish design company founded in 1958 by Koefoed Larsen and his wife, Hanne Kjærholm. Koefoed Larsen, born in 1926 in Hobro, Denmark, studied carpentry and design at the Copenhagen School of Design.
