About this vintage design furniture
An eye-catching desk or conference chair designed by Richard Sapper, manufactured by Knoll International in the USA around 1980. It has a black lacquered metal crossbase and is upholstered in beautiful quality black leather. The tall backrest provides a maximum seating comfort, making this a perfect piece for the office space The armrests smoothly curve from the base which adds nicely to it’s appealing style. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

About the designer
Richard SAPPER
1932 - 2015Richard Sapper was a German industrial designer who was born in Munich in 1932 and died in Milan in 2015. After studying engineering in Munich, he worked for several design companies, including Mercedes-Benz and Siemens, before becoming an independent designer in the 1960s.
