About this vintage design furniture
An extremely rare and mechanically brilliant flip flap or lotus rosewood table. The choice of grain in the Rosewood is nothing short of beautiful and exactly what you would expect from a well respected maker such as Dyrlund. The table ingeniously enlarges from 110cm diameter (seating 4) to 150cm comfortably seating six, or cozily eight The table sits on the rarer modernist version steel legs.

About the designer
Svend DYRLUND
Svend Dyrlund (1926-2007) was a Danish designer known for his high-quality wooden furniture. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts and worked for several Danish furniture manufacturers before founding his own company, Dyrlund, in 1960.
