About this vintage design furniture
A hand-made glass vase, type 66317, designed by Jozef Hospodka for Chribska Sklarna Borské sklo, Nový Bor, in the mid-1960s. Crystal glass, hand-formed, colored in the mass, two-color green-pink, spirally twisted. A beautiful organic vase with an interesting original shape, a classic of Czechoslovakian organic design. Item in very good condition with minimal signs of use. It is a smaller and much rarer version of a spiral vase, a real treat for the collector. About the designer
Josef HOSPODKA
Josef Michal Hospodka was a Czech designer who was born in 1923 and died in 1989. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague, where he began working as a teacher after graduating.
