About this vintage design furniture
Charming Austrian mid-century bright beechwood armchair with new top quality fabric upholstery in orange, red, beige and brown tones , designed for Café Ritter in Vienna in 1952, one of the most popular designs by Roland Rainer. They have been manufactured by Emil and Alfred Pollak in Vienna, who as well produced the Stadthallen Chairs. The bright beech wood has been very slightly restored as well.

About the designer
Roland RAINER
Roland Rainer was an Austrian architect and designer who was born in 1910 and died in 2004. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and began his career working for the Austrian architect Clemens Holzmeister.
