About this vintage design furniture
Very decorative hand blown glass chandelier from Italy, made of Murano glass, attributed to Barovier & Toso. It features nine curved traditional ( made for centuries ) Venetian glass leaves that fall and grow elegantly around a beautiful glass bowl highlighted by three bulbs. This decorative composition is suspended to the glass-clad rod with brass endings and a semicircular brass canopy. Overall is in an excellent original vintage condition with no cracks or dents. it requires 3 small E27 bulbs.

Barovier is the name of a famous family of Italian glassmakers who have been active in the glass industry for over seven centuries. Among the most notable members of this family is Ercole Barovier (1889-1974), a designer and master glassmaker who played an important role in the 20th-century renaissance of the Murano glass industry.
