About this vintage design furniture

The bookcase was made in the 1960s, produced by the well-known Danish manufactory Hundevad. Designed by leading Danish designer Carlo Jensen. The structure is covered with ash veneer. Legs made of solid wood. Surface refreshed. Inside the space has been filled with eight practical shelves, six of which are height adjustable. The bookcase is ideal for storing a large collection of books or collectables. Condition: The surface of the bookcase has been refreshed. Minor scratches, marks and filled veneer losses are visible. Larger traces of use are always presented in the photos. The product is ready to use. For safety reasons, the furniture may have its legs unscrewed and shelves pulled out for transportation. Assembly should not be a problem. However, if in doubt, please contact us and we will send you an instructional video. Heavy duty shelving units should be additionally fixed to the wall with quick release pins. Dimensions: height:153 cm width:164.5 cm depth:30 cm

About the designer

Carlo JENSEN

1912 - 1989

Carlo Jensen was a Danish industrial designer who was born in 1913 and died in 2001. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Architecture and began his career as a furniture designer. He worked for companies such as Fritz Hansen and designed iconic chairs and tables.
