About this vintage design furniture
Rotating and illuminated globe by JRO Verlag from Munich from the 1940s. This pre-war model shows for example today’s KaliningradRussia still as Königsberg in East Prussia. The globe is made of mouth-blown glass and covered with colored map paper. The meridian is made of aluminum and supports the globe rotatably on a round wooden base. The globe is illuminated inside.
