About this vintage design furniture

Vintage Danish Rosewood Cabinet with Tambour Doors by Kai Kristiansen 1960s Danish mid-century modern cabinet in Rosewood designed by Danish architect Kai Kristiansen for Feldballes Møbelfabrik, Denmark. This cabinet is part of the FM Reolen system and has the same dimensions and proportions as the modules from this system. These cabinets were often used as a supplement to the FM Reolen wall units by Kai Kristiansen, but is also a stunning piece by itself that would fit in most spaces. Double tambour doors with integrated pulls in beautiful Rosewood easily slides open to reveal a spacious inside with a height adjustable shelf and a wide felt lined drawer in solid beech. The inside of the cabinet is finished in Rosewood veneer. Standing on four round tapered legs in solid stained oak. Beautiful expressive Rosewood grain pattern. Very good original condition. Only minor signs of wear like small scratches to the top, please see photo. Cleaned and polished. Ready for use.
