A fantastic pair of lounge chairs designed by Frantisek Jirak, made in the Czech Republic circa 1950.These eye-catching chairs have high quality beechwood bases in a beautiful warm brown color. The tapered legs give them a nice mid-century modern look. The seat and cushions are newly upholstered in a beautiful gray fabric. The round shells offer maximum seating comfort and style with a smooth transition between the back, seat and armrests. This is a truly fantastic set that would make a stunning addition to any decor.The set is in very good vintage condition, with new upholstery and minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

Frantisek JIRAK
František Jiránek (1898-1978) was a Czech designer who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his work in furniture design, but also designed objects in glass and ceramics.
