An eye-catching lounge chair, model “Pernilla”, designed by Bruno Matthson for Bruno Matthson Design in Sweden around 1960. The beech wooden shape of the frame is really nicely bent into shape. It’s curved structure is an iconic feature of this iconic piece Upholstered in beautiful black leather, which nicely contrasts to the frame of the piece and makes this a rare edition of this beautiful piece. As a perfect finish, the chair comes together with a matching foot stool in the same shape and colour A rare set of mid-century Scandinavian design that will draw the attention in any decor. The ergonomic shape of the set, combined with the headrest neck pillow, guarantees a maximum seating comfort Chair sizes: W. 65.5 x D. 80 x H. 100 (SH. 26) cm Stool sizes: W. 51 x D. 66 x H. 40 cm It has the manufacturer’s mark on the frame, as shown in photos. The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
