About this vintage design furniture
Secretaire / cabinet designed by the Dutch Cees Braakman for Pastoe in the fifties. The cabinet is part of the well know ‘Birch series’ (Berkenserie) and has – the now iconic – bent ply feet. The cabinet comes in birch veneer with solid birch edges and has been refinished by us. The condition is good with some small signs of use and a discolouration on the bottom shelf – see photos for this.
