An absolute classic and a rare design icon. In the mid-fifties until about 1962 GEORG LEOWALD worked as an architect and furniture designer for Wilkhan Möbelwerke. This version of the chair is hard to find. The design is characterized by the graceful backrest with two rungs and the strong seat with wicker. The set consists of four chairs. The following restoration has been done: Some rungs of the backrests were renewed. All seats were provided with new wicker. It darkens with time. The chairs are not marked, but sufficiently known.
