Mid century Caori coffee table by Vico Magistretti for Gavina, 1960

The extraordinary Caori coffee table designed by Vico Magistretti for Gavina in the 1960s is in an age-appropriate condition. The black, high-gloss lacquered wooden surfaces show clear signs of wear, such as chipping and scratches. The stainless steel table top shows only slight traces. The table has 2 drawers and 2 storage compartments on the side of the table and a box in the middle of the table which is hidden by a hydraulic flap. The Italian Manufactory Gavina was known for extraordinary designs and the Cooperation with high-ranking designers, one of whom was Vico Magistretti.
