About this vintage design furniture
This beautiful “Stalactite” pendant lamp was designed by ‘Nanny Still’ for Massive & Val Saint Lambert in the 1960s. This Nanny Still lamp is made of of a metal ceiling plate with five glass shades in the colours brown, light green, amber, pink and dark green. These glass shades are also called “stalactites” and hang in a beautiful composition in wrought iron holders. Dimensions: h x w x d 114 x 50 x 38 cm. Each shade measures: h x d 26 x 11.5 cm and has a small screw bulb holder, max. 60 W per fitting. Condition: very good. Wiring checked by electrician.

About the designer
Nanny STILL
Nanny Still was a Finnish designer born in 1926 and died in 2009. She studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in Helsinki and began her career in the 1940s working for the famous Finnish glass company Riihimäen Lasi.
