About this vintage design furniture
Lovely midcentury glass table lamp model RD designed by Carl Fagerlund for the Swedish glasswork company Orrefors in the 1950s. The lamp is made of crystal glass and reminds of frozen water- capped with a polished metalbase on top with the Orrefors’s etched logo. The lamp is heavy with an elegante shape and conical design. The resulting light is magic. Signed underneath. Measures: 39 cmH (incl bulb socket) x 14 cmD. Very good vintage condition. Lampshade is not included. Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a talented Swedish lighting designer working at Orrefors glassworks between 1946-1980.
