About this vintage design furniture
This light features eight thick ice-like Murano glass shades, hand-worked and fixed on a gilded metal frame. There is no trademark on the lamp, however, the use of this kind of heavy Brutalist glass as well as its very particular and essential shape can be attributed to the production of Mazzega Murano. The lampshades have a smooth surface, while underneath is made rough by the hot application of minute fragments of glass, called "Graniglia" in Venetian. the light is in Good condition compatible with age and use. The glass plates are intact, the metal frame has no bumps as shown in the photos. On the metal chain there are traces of oxidation due to age. The wiring has been replaced, the standard E27 lamp holder is original.
