About this vintage design furniture
José GURVICH ( 1927-1974 ), drawing with pencil, inks, watercolour and pastel. Signed by the studio JOAQUIN TORRES GARCIA ( 1874-1949 ) in which this work was realized in 1950. This drawing was used as a model for the front page of the last publication of the American avant-garde magazine REMOVEDOR ( 1945-1953 ) number 28 of July 8, 1953. A copy of this issue can be seen at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, inventory number N1.R38
