About this vintage design furniture
Originally designed by Naoto Fukasawa for B&B Italia in 2008, the Papilio chair takes its name from the Latin word for butterfly. The curved silhouette, featuring a winged back rest, mirrors the butterflies movement and creates a wide and comfortable seat. Upholstered in black leather, the chairs have tubular steel legs and feature a silver zip detailing down the back which also allows for the covers to be removed. Contemporary yet timeless, these chairs would sit perfectly within a modern dining room or kitchen.
